Whatever the scale of our clients' mineral exploration programme we analyse and process multispectral and hyperspectral data to highlight different mineral types, as well as subtle compositional variations utilising satellite and airborne data.
On a regional scale we are able to identify target zones from satellite analysis, or on a more detailed scale use airborne hyperspectral data to map and rank the surface mineralogy of individual prospects.
Our geologists can integrate the mineral analysis with structural interpretation to look at the geological context of highlighted anomalies.
In addition, spectral analysis of field samples, using hand held spectrometers can be undertaken to validate satellite-based studies. Alternatively the system is particularly of use when measuring core logs, as subtle mineralogical and compositional changes can be rapidly identified down the section.
All our data is supplied “GIS ready” and can be easily integrated with clients existing datasets.
Both solutions can be enhanced by the generation of a 30 metre resolution DEM from the ASTER imagery allowing ortho-rectification of the imagery, 3D visualisation and advanced structural interpretation.
