Planet Action concentrates on two main activities:
- Grants: Support local projects by providing geo-information technology, services, and expertise to NGOs working on climate change.
- Outreach: Develop awareness activities on climate change and geo-information technology.
To date, more than 500 projects have benefitted from technology grants. Planet Action and its partners participate in major international events to promote how technology is an essential part of the climate change solution.
Astrium Services staff are active stakeholders in this initiative and feedback from projects is used to boost innovation within our company.
