E-commerce and web-based managed service solutions are provided by Astrium Services to facilitate access to geospatial information on a just-in-time basis and with an appropriate commercial model. A number of different types of service are operated which have been outlined below.
E-Commerce supporting websites
E-Commerce websites allow visitors to select and purchase data as and when needed. Some examples are SPOTMaps store and GeoStore.
Data distribution websites
Data distribution websites allow visitors to draw down data for which they already hold a licence. Examples include Geostore for PGA, the website supporting the UK Pan Government Agreement data licence.
